    2009 Topps Magic Blaster

I bought a box of this stuff before and meh. Took awhile to finally find a blaster at Target and as I was leaving the isle I saw another tucked away behind some non sports cards. Switched blasters and I'm glad I did. Here are the results: (I'm sure I missed a few SP's and RC's)

    SP's
    Sebastian Janikowski
    Robert Meachum

    RC's
    Matthew Stafford (mini)
    Shonn Greene
    Knowshon Moreno
    Chase Coffman
    Derrick Williams

    Insert:
    Jackie Robinson!!

    Auto!
    Steve Slaton

I'm pretty convinced to never buy a Topps box again where there is blaster for that product (this of course excludes TTT and Finest). The blasters seem to be a much better value. Thanks for looking.

**I'm new to this forum so I don't know too much about trading and selling. Don't be offended if I don't trade or sell please! **

Oh yeah! Of course. One time equals everytime. Yeah , no. I'm newer to this forum but not the hobby. I've been collecting for years and years.

From a blaster, this is actually first time I've pulled an auto. I buy Magic, Chrome, Mayo and these types of cards for their rookies and to build sets. I don't buy them in the hopes my one auto per box is amazing. If a decent auto comes out of a hobby box of Chrome for example, that's awesome. Definitely not the norm. So taking that into account, I personally prefer blasters. But I'm not dumb enough to think it'll happen all the time. I've come to this conclusion from a lot of money and time being spent on the hobby.

Nice hit on the Slaton and Robinson. You didn't happen to pull a Marlin Jackson, did you?

Thanks! You know I don't remember off the top of my head. I'll check when I get home tonight. I'll PM you to let you know. I also busted a box of this, I'll check through what I have.

Thanks. Appreciate it. I've opened two boxes, so I have a few doubles. LMK if you need any...

I have more luck with Topps blasters than any other. In recent past I have pulled a Rashard Mendenhall Topps Chrome Refractor Auto RC /150 (BV $150), a Topps Chrome Andre Caldwell auto RC, a Steve Slaton Mayo Cut Plug GU, and several Bowman Signs of the Future autos including 2 of Lawrence Timmons.

In comparison, I haven't hit a decent auto or GU out of a Donruss blaster in so long that I can't remember the last time. I hit GU of Issac Bruce, Reggie Williams and some no-name undrafted rookie, but who cares. They are junk GU and were not worth the price of the boxes.
