Grandmama would have crushed Pippen in a brawl. Wasn't he a boxer growing up in Dallas? Seems like I read that somewhere.
I remember his comments. Everybody thought the same way as LJ, but none of the players around the league came out and said it before then. The sports columnists had a field day with this.

Just for reference.
One expert at NBA forum of my country commented about truth of Larry Johnson like this.
(His age is 40's. He metioned he have seen NBA since 1970's. I don't know well about him though.)
/He trained and learned Boxing from 9 years old to 12 years old but it was just like Hobby not serious
(Local Police Station had done this program for unlucky kids.)/
add this .lol

who cares who could beat up the other. Pippen is arguably a top 2 SF of all time right now. As Mike said, there are no rings without Scottie.

Larry Bird is # 1, now.
No one won't claim about this.now.
(All time # 1 PG - Magic / # 1 SG - MJ / # 1 SF - Bird)
# 2 - DR. J ? Baylor ? LBJ(we don't know about him, now though / Of course, he is not # 2 now. I mean "in the future") ?
I don't know about Rick Barry much.
And Nique is SF,too. But Nique might not be # 2.
and Barkley is not SF. He has been categorized as PF.
Furthermore, opponent of Barkley was not SFs, Rather PFs like Chris Webber, Karl Malone etc.Last edited by nbacard; 08-26-2009 at 10:15 PM.

yes IMO seriously he is top 2. He doens't have the numbers of a Erving, Baylor, Barry, or Worthy. Chuck is a 4, PF, so I'm not classfying him there.
The year that Michael played baseball - take a look at Pippen's numbers, I think he finished 3rd-5th in MVP voting. Had he been solo his whole career his numbers would be higher. And honestly, Larry and most of those players were better offensively..but what Pippen did for the Bulls on the D side of the ball is what I really push him up to the top for, and the fact that he could run the offensive if you wanted a huge lineup in.
and he has 6 rings
