    What would you do??

    Hey all,

I made a trade about a month and a half ago, the trade was a base card of the cup for me to give and he was to send a jersey card. he is a must send first trader as he had only completed 2 trades. I contacted him a few days ago asking if he had sent the card out yet as he lives close and i should have recieved it by this point. He returns my PM stating that he hasn't sent it out and that there is $10 differance between the cards and he thought it was unfair so he decided not to send. Whats frustrating is that he didn't even contact me regarding him wanting to back out, i have since had people interested in the card and have turned them away due to thinking the card was traded. Not that big of a deal as far as $$$ of the trade goes, but i would have liked the card i was supposed to get. I have since asked him to lmk if he plans on following through with the deal and if not made the threat that i will report him to the mods for not following through. I have also posted this on another site, hopefully he will see it and recognize that it is not good trading practice to do this.

I guess i'm asking should i bother?...I just don't want him doing it to others

    and I can't lie...I WANT MY CARD!!!!!!.....lol

    hi

it's my belief that once a trade is confirmed you are obligated to finish the trade.

    cheers mike

I agree with this statement...unless both parties agree to have the trade cancelled by a mod. in this case, he didn't even bother to contact you...meanwhile you are just sitting there wondering. not acceptable.

I'm not a big fan of leaving negative feedback but if you can't work it out you should-
    A. Pout
    B. Trash his name all over the boards
    C. Drive to his house and take the card
    D. File a trade dispute in the trade manager and leave negative feedback
    E. All of the above

Hmmm... probably D. I had an issue with one trade on the site and the mods where helpful in getting resolution.

Id talk to a mod about it, considering hes new, Id have a mod contact him as well, if there was no compliance, open a dispute and leave neg feedback. But like I said, there are some experienced mods on here, Im sure they can help smooth out the problem
