    Me too!! I've been sedating myself with actually playing ice hockey through the summer (who knew there would be ice hockey in Texas?). Tournament this weekend. Wahoo!

    I attended my first NHL game last year (Sabres VS Leafs, Leafs won) and though I was going to write up a piece on it, advised by the warden... oops I mean GF, we kept it to ourselves as a great first time experiencing the greatest game on Ice (though only edging out Curling, Curling!!!)

    This year I plan to atleast hit up 3 venues: Mellon, HSBC, Air Canada Centre
    and have some stories to tell. Who knows, I might even get to meet some of SCF hockey faithful finally.

    Well as the NHL opted for Sweden and Finland again to kick off the season, I can't go to a game but the Hamilton Bulldogs and Toronto Marlies are coming to Scotland for the Gardiner Cup so I have a 4.5 hour train trip to look forward to w/e 26th September, all worth it to see some hockey though!

    i'm more than ready. i never really get away from it since i play year round but i'm excited to get back to the big stadium again. first hawks preseason game is two weekends away! get to see ovie too so i'm excited for that.
