Upper Deck Redemption
On this day last year, I submitted a redemption card to Upper Deck. To this day, the status is still "Athlete committed to signing soon, please be patient."
This isn't just any card I'm waiting for. It's a 2007/08 The Cup Dual Enshrinements/25 of Evgeni Malkin & Mario Lemieux. My assumption is they are waiting for Malkin to sign.
I've had no problem waiting for the card since I already have autographs of both these guys (they are NFT, so don't ask lol). But I think one year is long enough.
I'm curious as to the opinions of everyone here as what I could do. Should I just wait to see if I get the card? Do I try to get a replacement? If i got a replacement, could it be better or worse? LMK what you think!

I am sure you will get the card eventually. I have heard up to two years in extreme cases.

I would call them. Its always best to talk to someone directly. Ask them if they think this might be happening anytime soon. If they assure you it will be made, then I would wait it out. Replacements can be good or bad, but for that card i'm sure you wouldn't complain. Still, i'd keep waiting!

i am surprised they have not asked you "who else do you collect"...lol
then you get some b/s cards in the mail to compensate...I cannot complain, I had a redemption for steve bernier f.w patch auto/100 and recieved a gold crosby rookie, that can grade a 9.5 easy!

1 year? that's nothing for upper deck redemptions. I've got 14 Letter Marks from 06-07 SPGU getting close to 3 years.

Make sure you give them your new address being that you are moving. Gives you a reason to contact them and find out whats up. Would talk to someone live not just e-mail.
P.S. If you don't know your new address feel free to give them mine
Good Luck

I think if you waited 3 years the quote "Athlete committing to sign" is not very accurate. What have your talks been with UD assuming you asked them the status of those Letter Marks your waiting on?

I would wait... for a card like that, I wouldn't take a chance asking them to replace it!

Thanks for all the input!
I'll definitely contact them over the phone and hope for the best. A card this good is worth the wait, I just wish I didn't have to lol.
