    Need some input..

    Got a NEW contest idea..and need to know FIRST if there's anyone out there wanting to be INVOLVED in this one before we try to post it up.

    I'm sure everyone's familiar w/the Basketball Draft that's going on RIGHT now. This would be pretty much the SAME thing..but, the stakes will be HIGHER on it. More like MID END valued cards.

    GU'd = MIN VALUE $20..MAX $60
    Autos = MIN VALUE $20..MAX $60
    Serial Numbered = MIN VALUE $15... MAX $45

    LMK if anyone would be interested in joining in this one.

    I'd be interested, but not quite sure I'd have too many cards that fit the guidelines.

    I find a few flaws with this Evan, however i understand and like where you are coming from, its hard to find a GU in this day thats 20, even a Kobe GU only books 12 sometimes!

    A suggestion would be a "no scrub" Draft if that makes sense..lol where only things put in are of quality players (we should all know which and which aren't scrubs)

    Well..it would run along the same lines, pretty much, of our current Basketball Card Draft going on right now:
    .
    Rules
    1) You must send in 10 cards, with at least 6 of which being GU or autographed (no IP/TTM or college cards), and no more than 4 serial numbered cards (serial numbered GU/autos do not count to this total).
    2) Card values must be at least $10 for GU/autos and at least $5 for serial numbered cards. Current values will be checked prior to approval!
    3) Cards must be in NM/MT condidtion. Please do not send damaged or bent cards.
    4) PM me a list of the cards you intend to send in, so we can approve the cards prior to you sending them in. Please see rule #1 for cards you need to send in. DO NOT POST WHAT CARDS YOU WILL SEND IN THIS THREAD!
    5) Once we get 15 participants, all cards must be sent in a timely manner (SCF rules for sending out trades is within 3 days). The draft will last 10 rounds.
    6) To determine draft order, participants will rank each lot of cards. Participants may not vote for their own lot. Each participants must rank the other 14 participants from best to worst. More to come on this when the signups are over.
    7) There will be a 12 hour time limit for each pick. If the picks are not made on time, the next person in the draft order can select their pick. The person who failed to make the pick on time can make 2 picks on their turn during the next round. However, you may send me a preference list if you think you may miss your upcoming selection.
    8) Participants are required to send the cards to trevorp121, and after the draft is over, he will send the cards to each participant. I will PM you his address once all slots are filled.
    9) For U.S. residents, please add $3 cash for return postage with delivery confirmation. International traders please add $4 for return postage. NON-NEGOTIABLE! CASH ONLY! Alternatively, you may send PayPal - $3.25 for U.S. residents, and $4.25 for international residents. Or, you can send an SASE (remember, you will be getting 10 cards back so make sure there is enough postage if you go that route).

    Bout the only changes we'd do would be:

    2) Card values must be at least $10 for GU/autos and at least $5 for serial numbered cards. Current values will be checked prior to approval!
    This one..we'd go with Card values must be at least $20 for Game Used and Autos and at least $15 for Serial Numbered cards.

    5) Once we get 15 participants, all cards must be sent in a timely manner (SCF rules for sending out trades is within 3 days). The draft will last 10 rounds.
    THIS one...we'd probably have to go down to 10 members..as I don't think we'd get that many sign ups.
