the chase doesn't mean anything unless you win the title anyway, Kyle has nothing else to race for other than wins so everybody else better watch out. congrats to Brian, i guess as far as the chase goes i'm a Mark fan for these next 10 races.

that was AWESOME down to the wire. i was expecting a kyle whine but he was actually very classy. i still don't think the system rewards victories enough i'm not a kyle fan but he should have gotten in ahead of people like montoya with zero wins. just my opinion. but GREAT AND EXCITING FOR BV 83!

why dont they do the chase something like this, if you win a race your in, no matter what, that will reward winning. Then in the last 10 seed accordingly, no reason Busch shouldnt be in it, i actually think the chase will be a snoozer without him in it. Thank goodness football starts

Exactly what I was thinking. Really bores it down a lot. Kyle makes it that more exciting to watch and more enticing. Guess we have to hope JPM heats it up.

that would encourage teams to not run the full season-whats the point-just concentrate on a few races and win one-they wouldnt have to race the rest of the year until the chase-makes no sense-theres got to be some incentive to race every week. And seriously do Logano and Keselowski deserve to be in this year-i dont really think so.

I agree with race crazy. Yes the chase maybe a little dull without Kyle. If this was the case, that would mean Brad Keselowski would make the chase. How many races has brad raced this year? Would brad truly deserve a spot in the chase? Hypothetical, say there were 26 different winners this year, would all 26 drivers deserve to be in the chase? Winning a race should carry more points, but to me its more about consistance.
