    Trade Watch Day Three

This is Bill Hicke at (I believe) the 1967 training camp for the Oakland Seals. It was a crazy TC for the Seals, with Jacques Plante hired to coach and then playing so well in scrimmages he almost made the team in front of Charlie Hodge.

Is that correct, Jacques Plante was the first Seals coach? I had never heard that before.
I thought Plante was with the St. Louis Blues in the early expansion years, and with Glenn Hall formed the tremendous goalie tandem that carried the Blues to I think 3 consecutive Cup finals.

I learned something to but as you mention many people post facts that are not correct. LMK if you find out for sure.
