    Tuukka Rask cards

Do you guys think Tuukka Rask is worth collecting right now. I was looking into buying his "the cup" rookie but I with Thomas signed to that big contract, do you guys think Rask will ever get a chance to play in Boston. Or do you think he will head back to Finland? Thanks!

I may be biased but I do believe he is worth collecting as he was generally known to be the best goalie not playing in the nhl last year along with gustavsson.
In limited appearances he has looked real good, even posted a shutout in his only start last year. Also, backups to Tim Thomas get to start in more games than the avg. backup, look for rask to prolly start 30-35 games next year barring any injuries. That will give him plenty enough experience and confidence to step right in once thomas retires in 3-4 years from now.

I agree with you but the only problem is the bruins have salary cap issues and rask's cap hit is 3.2 mil in his last year. That was my only issue in him getting a chance to play. He has the skill but will the cap allow him. As a bruins fan do you think he will leave or stay and wait it out? Personally I dont wnana spend like 150 on his rookie only for him to head to finland next year.

I think he will stay as he will still get a good chunk of playing time, if he decides he wants to be a starter the Bruins will be able to get some goodies for him. He would easily be an upgrade over what some teams currently have as starters...chicago or atlanta for example! I think he would go that route as opposed to heading back to europe
