Am I being gouged?
I guess I just fell off the turnip truck!

I sent a guy a pm asking why a card that books for $20 soon adds up to $100 cash? Does anyone else use this theory? The guy is lucky there is a computer that separates us is all I can say.
I shouldn’t even have to explain myself to you.. but I will teach you how to price..
MONTOYA GLOVE /50 goes for $20 BV.. yes !! a ONE COLOR PIECE !!
For 2 color you multiply by 1.5X so therefore a 2 color would be $30 BV
For 3 color you again go 1.5X.. so 3 color would be $45 and so on..
For more than 3 color pieces.. they are considered unique and get 2-3 X BV..
So considering mine is a 4 color.. $45 X 2-3 times = $100
Anyway.. not that I have to explain my pricing to you.. you should already know this..

I hate people like this. First thats bs. Second its Al Montoya. Maybe a 5 color crosby can multiply 3 or 4 times, not an AHL goalie. It's worth no more than $10-$15 regardless of how many colors it is.

I want to laugh at his multiplier theories, and knock him senseless for the condescending attitude and belief that he needs to "teach" anything.

As a teacher I concur.

The problem with his reasoning is that he bases each successive price on the previous one when it should all be based on the original card.

Actually, his biggest problem is letting Beckett tell him how not to sell cards, seems to be all they're good for lately

if you look in the becket in the higher end white patches sometimes sell under low bv and patches are most of the time 2 clr any way so i would think 2 or 3clr would be high bv but for star players you can pay hi bv for a sweet patch even on the bay some people are off the deep end this is my 2 cents

I've seen that crackhead math before, probably the same guy....If it is he told me he strictly trades on BV not sales, then he had these formulas to boost every card value he had. Just tell them thanks and good luck with that.
