Flyers
Let's Go Flyers tonight and open the season with a win against the Hurricanes!
I hope we can FINALLY win the cup and bring it back where it belongs!l collect Philadelphia Eagles (NO VICK CARDS), Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers.

Although I'm a Toronto fan, they're obviously no where near going to the Cup, so I'm hoping the Flyers can go all the way too. I may be a bit biased, but adding Pronger is going to make a difference for you guys. The guy is a difference maker, and a playoff horse.
Looking forward to watching the game tonight actually. The Flyers are always a fun team to watch.

Looked good to kick it off. Emery was sharp and hopefully tossing up a donut in his first outing will bring some much needed confidence. Pronger played well also and I agree, he may be that missing piece of the puzzle. I like the lines used. Good balance and mix of our scoring and size.

I'm a Devils fan and i must admit that this Flyers team is SCARY. They are so dangerous with Richards , Carter , Briere , Gagne , Hartnell and young talents like Giroux and Van Riemsdyk . They're physical with Carcillo , Powe , Hartnell , Lapperiere , Pronger , Coburn , Asham , Riley Cote and Blair Betts.
I just can't believe you can have a team like that under a salary cap ! It would be the only team i wouldn't want the devils to face in the playoffs.
Philly will be 1st or second in the East. Probably first , as Washington do not have the D and that kind of offensive depth Philly has.Last edited by Brodeur_fan666; 10-03-2009 at 01:36 AM.

You got a long season so I wouldn't be talking CUP yet. As you seen with Markov anything can happen to hurt a team. Of course Philly has ton of depth.

Oh I agree man, I'm just hoping. We have to wait and see how the rest of the season/injuries play out, 2-0 so far and I'm happy.

Shoulda watched the game tonight vs. the Caps, woulda been happier w/ that outcome instead of the crappy Tigers game. Oh well, 3-0 and I'm happy so far!
Mike Richards is tearing it up, good thing I got him on my fantasy team. I'm surprised Giroux hasn't lit it up yet, but his time is coming soon I believe.

I was at the game..it was one of the best games Ive ever been to. Ovy really is opportunistic, it seems like whenever we turned it over, he was there for it and Semin embarrassed us on his goal, but our offense made up for it. Carle looks fantastic on the PP. The great thing too is that Gagne looks rusty and Giroux hasnt developed any chemistry with anyone yet (Powe isnt the type of player to play on his wing, hopefully JVR is okay after leaving the game). Once they're clicking on all cylinders, it could be amazing to watch.
