CHIT-CHAT FF: Week 4 Wrap
Maybe this time we can stay on topic?
WEEK 4 WRAP UP
And the scores begin to drop...
The huge individual games are becoming fewer and fewer, we're getting into just good ol' football. And the match up scores are reflecting that, with only 4 teams scoring over 90 and only 1 over 100.
I'm changing up the Worst Start of the Week trophy from here on. I'm tired of having to assign 5-6 trophies for this, I really didn't think there would be that many QB/RB/WR 0s posted each week. So it's going to be an executive decision...if there's a tie for the lowest point total, I'll choose between the candidates for one lucky weiner.
Recap of the Match ups
Novacaine @ Blunts - Relatively solid play all around for the Novacaine is capped off by 39 points from the 49ers D/ST (awful glad I decided to pick them up instead of just rolling with the Jets!). And the Blunts are building quite an impressive trophy case, adding another Worse Loss of the Week award.
• PABS!!! @ Dwarves - What a terribly boring game. Only one player on each team scoring in double figures and one of those was 10. Antonio Gates is the difference for PABS, posting 24 points, taking home the TE of the Week trophy, bringing home the win, and knocking the Dwarves out of the undefeated ranks. As a consolation prize for the Dwarves, Jabar Gaffney gets him the Worst Start of the Week trophy.
The Victors @ The Hellbillies - The polar opposites of the league. The Victors ride solid play by everyone but dreamboat Sanchez to a 4-0 start, while the Hellbillies posts too many 1s and 3s to fall to 0-4.
That Thing @ The Pillagers - Ric's Back is kicking himself for not plugging Mendenhall and Favre into his starting line up and cake walking to his first win. Now he's partying in the cellar with the Hellbillies. The Pope rides his 4-headed QB attack to it's first win.
TRUCKER EFFECT!! @ The 'Horns - JeRmZ got out to a quick 2-0 start, but has since dropped 2 in a row to fall back to mediocrity. The 'Horns is thanking his TE, D/ST, and K for bringing home his 3rd win in a row to move him to 3-1.
Stratusfaction @ Ramrod - Jesse drops from the undefeated ranks as well this week...Eli tried his best, but the rest of the team didn't carry their share. Ramrod rises above some bad WR play and internet issues to still bring home the win.

0-5 here I come!
I'd like to point out that I, an 0-4 team, have more points forced than the only 4-0 team.
I'd like to thank whoever dropped Donovan McNabb. I needed a bye week QB in week 6.

I know Mitch, it's gonna be a close one between us. What really killed me was Mike Sims-Walker being inactive due to discipline. That made me have to throw in an emergency Brandon Stokley. Stupid! I'm really hoping that Ryan, Fitzgerald, and Vernon Davis all have big rest of their games. Otherwise, I think I'm due for my first loss!!!
