    Hey,
Does anyone know when the full checklist will be out? The base cards and insert numbers are out, but the rest is yet to be released...Any info would be great! Thanks!

I am waiting for this too, anxious to see the checklist for the Ultimate Emblem/Tag/Number cards.

No full checklist yet. But looking the actual checklist, I do not see again this year any cards from this set made by ITG that can compete the NHL Shields Auto 1/1 cards from UD Ultimate Collection or UD The Cup. So it cannot be the "ultimate" product in my mind, unless I missed some cards. Well let's wait the full checklist...

I'm not sure what exactly the design of those base cards are..... but whatever they are, it seems there's a player and some sort of special event / significant game or series that he was involved in.

Let me say, I'm officially offended by one of the Grant Fuhr cards. "Fuhr" and the "1990 Stanley Cup". The Cup which Bill Ranford won as the starting goalie..... the playoffs in which Ranford won an NHL record 16 games..... and the playoffs of which Ranford was named the MVP.

Doesn't bother me they may a Fuhr card instead of a Ranford..... whatever..... but if you're going to commemorate Oilers Cup victories with Fuhr..... do '87 or '88.... NOT 1990.

I used to have a thing against ITG for the lack of a license, but I have a new philosophy now. I am a fan of the sport in general, the NHL is more like a product within that sport. If UD makes NHL shield cards (which I do love), then maybe they can make the ultimate NHL product, but it's not necessarily the ultimate hockey product ;)

I want to expand on that, but I think I'll save it for a new article ;)

But, but... ITG never makes those types of errors, only UD lol.

    Let's dig a bit deeper...

    - Dominik Hasek has a 1999 Stanley Cup patch in his base card, Buffalo lost the championship series to Dallas. (No goal, by the way)

    - Mike Modano has a 1991 Stanley Cup patch in his card, although the North Stars lost the Cup to Pittsburgh.

Technically not errors, because those players were in the finals those given years (and these are Stanley Cup finals patches I assume), but questionable if in fact the intention was to honor Cup victories.

Inferno - After reading your post it actually makes a lot more sense.

Also, looking at their page, that Messier patch that's part of the scrolling banner..... one of the absolute best looking cards I think I've ever seen.

I have a feeling it will be the best patch set ever made, every time they reveal a new one they get better and better. According to the numbers on the site there are 66 cards in total, so far I have seen three in the Tavares and two Messier's. Can't wait to see the other 63!
