    Read this too...
LeBron James has tested positive for Influenza A and is being treated as if he has the swine flu.

James has yet to receive the results of a test for the H1N1 virus, which is a strain of Influenza A.

Despite the illness, James returned to practice on Thursday and will travel to Texas with the team.

Also sounds like he's not the only one...at least 6 Cavs have the same strain of flu that H1N1 is from...

He might have it. There are two subtypes of flu A and B. H1N1 is type A. The H and the N are short hands for proteins on the virus' that allow it to attack human cells. Different amino acids in the protiens change the H and N.

It sounds, at least from the Cavs end, that LeBron is back to feeling better, and that he'll play in tomorrow nights preseason game. He also thinks the team could have gotten it from the shots they got AGAINST it (which isn't too shocking with flu shots), and he went on to say that neither of his two boys have any symptoms (he also said neither of them got the shot), but guys on the team who did get the shot seem to be coming down with the flu.

I always knew he was a pig, now we have proof.

I don't think I've ever seen you make one post that has anything even remotely informational. But congrats on all the useless posts. I'm glad you like to joke about people who could have a flu bug that has killed other people.

H1N1 is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. My wife contracted it while she was pregnant. Of course it scared the crap out of me because of the media hype but she got through it with no medication at all. She was the first confirmed case in Kenton County, KY. At that time they weren't treating pregnant women for swine flu because they didn't know how it would affect the unborn child. I was with her every single day and I never contracted it I was tested and tested negative. Of course my work freaked out and made me stay home for 2 weeks before I was allowed to come back. But seriously it is really not that bad. Just like with the regular strand of flu it is usually only fatal to people with underlying health issues. Here my wife is several months later perfectly fine and our daughter is a healthy 2 month old baby.

Here is the article involving my wife

I'm willing to bet you've never paid attention to a single one of my posts before. But I've paid attention to yours. You leap to any Cleveland team's defense at the slightest criticism like you were leaping from a burning building. I think you might have self-esteem issues, me bucko. Besides, I had that flu and didn't die, so I can tell you from experience it's nowhere near as serious as the media make it out to be.

To those that are saying it's not serious - what do you say to the nearly 1000 different victim's families who have contracted H1N1 and died in the USA alone? In fact, it is serious...most cases are minor, but when 1000 deaths is not considered "most", that is scary...

Nathan- The media wants you to believe that this is more than the regular flu kills. The regular flu kills just as many ppl every year and again this is usually due to underlying health issues. As I said my wife had the swine flu while she was pregnant( you have a weakened immune system then) she made it through with no medication and I never contracted it. So from personal experience it seriously is not as bad as the media makes it out to be. And again the reason ppl are dying from it is because they all had some sort of underlying health condition on top of the swine flu.
