CHIT-CHAT FF: Week 6 Wrap
WEEK 6 WRAP
A little bit more exciting this week with most games being relatively close. We reverted back to the big individual games, most of them coming from the Patriots' beat down of the Titans. Still a lot of mediocrity in the league, with only one team rising to the top...and only one sinking to the bottom.
Recap of the Match ups
Novacaine @ Hellbillies - Texas had no one score more than 16 points...but no one scored less than 9 either. That solid all around play easily handled only one double digit scorer on the Novacaine, who takes home the Worst Loss of the Week trophy for the second straight week. Apparently it's time to shake things up, the Holy Rollers are entertaining all trade offers!
• PABS!!! @ 'Horns - Matt Hasselbeck followed up his 30 point week with a big 1 point for PABS...luckily for them, LT couldn't take advantage of that on Monday night. MJD and Pats D/ST led the way with big games, taking the 3-2 PABS to 4-2 and dropping the 3-2 'Horns to 3-3.
Blunts @ Dwarves - This game came down to one starting decision, which we've all seen by now. In his infinite wisdom, Coach John handed Dante Culpepper the helms and told Drew Brees to warm his tukus on the pine...and that cost the Dwarves 34 points, the win, and a spot at the top of the league...but it did get them the Worst Start of the Week trophy and they also brought home the K of the Week trophy, so it's not all bad. It starting to look like the SCF Throwdown may be decided by extremely questionable QB starts...
That Thing @ Ramrod - Coach J at least has an excuse for his questionable starts...he was in Cancun with his new bride. Apparently some people don't understand the importance of the SCF Throwdown! Of course, it may not have made a difference anyway, as Tom Brady had a record setting day and posted 43 points on his own. Now that the coach is back, That Thing has a long, hard climb to dig it's way out of the SCF cellar.
EFFECT!! @ Stratusfaction - The Truckers left the winning points on the bench this week, but it's ok, they just wanted to bring home the Bench of the Week trophy. They got what they wanted and the Stratusfaction got what they wanted, taking advantage to move to the top of the league, sitting at 5-1 all by their lonesome.
Victors @ Pillagers - The closest game of the week. Each team had only 3 players in single digits. The Pillagers over come a combined 4 points by the Steve Smith brothers to prevent the Victors from joining LA atop the league.

Man I was really hoping that Kaeding would have at least pulled out 5 more points for me last night. Oh well. And if there hadn't been a holding penalty on Brandon Jacob's TD catch I woulda won. Not much you can do about it except prepare for next week. The Victors will go back to being valiant this week against the Horns!

"Worst Loss of the Week - Holy Roller Novacaine - 107-38 to Los Angeles Stratusfaction"
This is incorrect. You lost to me 105-64. I'm going to make sure you don't forget it!

Woopsie...it was definitely an accident, 105-64 looks much better than 107-38!

we need to get some trade action going on here...
renegade tried taking advantage of me by offering reggie bush (you haven't cut him yet?)
jesrey is probably regretting not taking me up on an offer i made for TO...or maybe not...but im pretty glad he rejected me
i'd offer tiger pimp a trade, but there is literally nobody on his team i want...lol
bring me some offers people

Not really i would of got Addai... Rather have TO than a RB on my bench.

actually the offer was any of my RB's, other than Gore, which would've included Ray Rice...you chose Addai
in addition to any of my WR other than Moss & Colston...not that my backups are great or anything, but i'd much rather have Clayton or Ginn plus Addai than TO right now....i told you it was a steal, just glad you didnt take it
