Need Some Advice!
Need some advice on what to do with this situation. I made a trade recently with a member here. He was suppose to send out last Tuesday. Waited all week and never received anything. So I sent a pm Friday asking if he got them out. Just wanted to make sure they werent lost since he didnt supply a dc#. He pmed back saying that he was short money, but got them out to me on Friday and supplied a dc#. I was fine with that as things happen & things are more important than cards.
Well Monday arrived and nothing still in the mail. I checked the dc and it shows that it hasnt been dropped off. I send another pm, and the member says that he did send them Friday. Well today, check the mail again, and nothing. Nothing showing up on the dc either.
Just wondering if I should keep waiting (Member is new and is sending first) or just dispute the trade so I can either try trading my cards again or sell them. What do you guys think I should do?? Sorry for the long read
****UPDATE****
Cards actually showed up today. Thanks you guys. Cards still didnt show up on the dc# but did arrive. Thanks again for everyones helpLast edited by pw52; 10-22-2009 at 04:50 PM.

The Dc shows no record of item or it shows its on its way? If no record Id probably move on.

It shows that the Dc is electronically made...guessing like it shows through paypal
, but it doesnt state that it has been dropped off or scanned. So is it better to just dispute the deal, or ask a mod to cancel the deal

I think that means he got the DC off the usps website and give it to you, without shipping. I had this happen to me on ebay, seller gave me the DC and nothing happened for 5 days and 3 messages later.
Depends really how you feel, if it was a trade you really liked, needed then give it a another day or two, if you can do without cancel it, seeing you didnt lose anything.

If I really like the trade, I always give it an extra few days. Don't cancel a trade though- always put it in dispute and leave negative feedback. It gives other traders information about who they are dealing with. It obviously wouldn't matter to someone who has a lot of feedback and gets to wait while they send, but for good new members who would have to send same time, they should know that the other person couldn't fulfill their end previously.
Just my two cents,
Thanks!

i am not saying wait a lot longer. but i myself had that happen once when using paypal shipping labels.i printed it out and sent it. it took a little longer than normal to get there??? and when i was asked about the number not showing it was received i checked and it was still reading nothing was actually sent. i was thinking the cards got stolen but two days later they arrived and when the package finally hit the final destination the usps posted it was delivered on the tracking site...in your case there are other circumstance hes a new trader, has stated hes had some financial issues..i would wait an extra couple of day and continue to check and ask them whats up
