What does everyone want from your collection?

It seems I keep getting many inquiries about a few different cards. Which are your 'most asked about' cards?

Mine would have to be the now traded Lucic, The Giroux Autogu (SPx) and the BAP Bobby Ryan /99 RC.

No matter what cards I may be looking for, there are a few traders who always ask for the same cards-sometimes the same trader has done so several times. Specifically I am most often asked about : Crosby SOTT, Orr SOTT, and a 3 color Orr swatch /10 from ITG.

I usually do not mind being asked, but let us say I want a Larry Robinson auto, someone will ask me for the Crosby. I actually like trading, but it bother me that some traders act this way.

This is sort of a difficult question to answer, as I try to turn my traders as fast and frequently as I can, so the "action" is always changing from one particular card to the next.

I think it goes without saying, however, that there is a general pattern of expected greedy traders who will go after your best cards, regardless of what they're offering in return. I think it's a mindset. When you offer up your card, you go into someone else's bucket or tradelist thinking "what does this person have that I want" rather than what it should be, something closer to "what can I find in here that I would like that's similar in value to what I'm offering." Again, with the mindset thing, I think there are a number of traders out there who look at trading as an opportunity to try and get more than you give. They have to "win" the trade as it were. When you're in it for yourself, and not to enjoy the experience, you can justify asking for a Crosby auto for a Larry Robinson auto and not see the blatant disregard in your request.

I don't think there is one specific hockey card that I get asked about all the time. However, for some reason in the football section I always get asked about my Matt Forte autos...

From my PC folder, I get a lot of inquiries on a Crosby auto and some SPA Future Watch autos. Even though that section is clearly marked PC-NFT, some people think I might give in....wrong, it's PC. I once had an Ovechkin YG in there and eventually removed it because I was tired of people asking.

Most recently there have been many times when I've expressed in cards (some as low as $20) and in response people have said they like my Staal Dual Scripted Swatches /5 from the High End folder. *insert facepalm*

My Crosby inked sweaters (everytime), Forsberg GU letter (just traded) Howe lettermarks, Yzerman autos, a Boumeester Endorsed Emblem with a very nice swatch and my Zetterberg Premier RC patch/AU #/15 (not FT). For some reason the Boumeester is not in the price guide and try to get lowballed on it.
