my other obsession = Marine Bio. but I recently had to take down and sell 8 of my tanks, Still have the 175 gallon sitting at my fathers house empty so its waiting for me

I have a 200 gal, but I have it down right now. Sold all my fish. I wouldn't mind setting it back up though

Keep the pics coming!!! I have never done salt water......way to chicken with the amount you have to out in for equipment and the price of some of those fish....OUCH

It really all depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of tank you want really when it comes to saltwater. I know guys that have tanks that have cost them thousands ..... and I know guys who have tanks like mine who cost less than 500 to set up and maintain. There is a lot of mis-information when it comes to saltwater and it pays to do a lot of research prior to starting it to see which direction you want to go. I made the mistake of setting up with bare minimum and then switching to a full reef later on and it ended up costing me more money than it should have.
If you'd like more info feel free to post and I'll answer it the best I can. I've had my tank running for about 4-5 years now and have had absolutely no problems other than Wars between certain corals that I have ..... I've lost a few very pretty corals due to not knowing they couldn't mix with others!!
