    Battlefield Bad Company 2

Whats up people, I havn't been on here much lately, just thought I'd check out the new posts.
Random thought here...but I was curious if anybody here plays Battlefield Bad Company online and is planning on getting part 2 when it comes out in March. This is kind of a sleeper game, and I think it kinda got put on the backshelf with all the good games that came out last year, but it really is an outstanding game. I'm guessing most folks play Modern Warfare, and are really geared up for part 2 of that in a couple weeks. (I am too) It's also a great game, and the single player is awesome!!! but I actually like BBC multiplayer much more, basically because it has bigger levels, all the vehicles you can imagine....etc. Just check out the trailers and gameplay vids on Utube...it looks SICK!!

Anyway, I'm big into BBC, and was wondering if anybody here plays.

Dude this game is sick. Around the beginning of this year i had poster a thread here about how underrated this game was, and how sick it is! I loved it, and while i chatted away with my friends in xbl parties, i'd be playing this while ppl would play GTA or Halo (although i do play those too). But this was just a really sweet game, and i'm looking forward to the sequel next year.

I agree. It BC part 1 is my favorite first person shooter apart from Rainbow Six Vegas. I love the characters' dialogue and the completely destructible environment.

Same here. I love the random achievements (if you're talking 360, or trophies for PS3), like "climbed to the highest point of the game" when you have to climb this tower in one of the mountain levels, or blow down 1,000 walls?

The best secondary weapon by far on that game is the little radio unit that you can call in a Russian artillery strike. I think when I beat the game I probably killed about 60% of the enemies that way.... and from a great distance.

And tell me driving a tank on a golf course isn't the coolest thing you've ever done in a video game.

    completely destructible environment.

The first game you could blow up almost everything....but in part 2 you literally can take down 100% of the environment...buildings come all the way down this time!!
Part 2 has two more helicopters, a better gunship and a transport helo where you can load up an entire team (online). Plus they are introducing parachutes, so imagine the start of an online match, you get a good helo driver, and load up in the back...then he flies to the enemy base, and you can all shoot out the side, or parachute into it and storm the crates....so sick.
They also added ATV's, and tweaked the driving so its a bit easier. So many new things this time around, like a kill cam, a vengence system (where you can upgrade easier by killing the guy who kills U) I also saw so footage of a soldier using a hand held defib machine on a dead comrade, bringing him back to life.....so even the medics have new upgrades other than just throwing health packs out...lol.

So yeah, while the single person game is fun...the online play is where this game is just unreal. In part 2 they did take a lot of the comedy out of the single player though, and made it a bit more serious.

If you guys play online, give me your gamertags and we can hook up when 2 comes out!!
I also play the original like 2-3 times a week online also, so if you still play that LMK as well.

Oh yeah, and the achievments are funny, I agree Jsox...one of my fav's is "Darwins parachute" where you have to jump out of a helicopter and float for at least 3 seconds...u die of course but its 15 points!!

On the BBC 2 website they are having a contest, where people can submit an achievement idea, and they are gonna use 1-2 of them in the new game. How sweet would that be!!

I must agree that BBC2 will be a lot of fun and definitely under the rader. BBC1 was great and BBC2 will be just as fun.

But how can you argue with tactical nukes in MW2? lol
