Once again I shall say.....
Show me in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, Bill of Rights and all those other great documents this country was founded that say "except for gays" Really people what does that make all those documents if they are denied the right to the same things as everyone else, might as well burn them all or turn em into toilet paper as thats as useful as they will ever be...... Its all so hypacritial its disgusting this is even an issue in America

you are entitled to that opinion. unfortunately, the majority of america in at least 30 states disagree with you.

I ask the same question. With a 50% divorce rate marriage is hardly credible these days. I feel people that argue it hurts the family or marriage just uses that as an excuse to force their beliefs onto someone else.

It is not an opinion, what is written on those papers cannot be argued, nowhere in them does it say gays are excluded from these rights only narrow minded bigots believe so. Discrimination is discrimination and bigotry is bigotry no matter how you hide it or what you call it, and we all know what that makes those people in the 30 states that disagree ......

theonedru - I bet the majority of those people in those 30 states are old and stuck on their 1920 mentality as well, they probably cringe when they see a black man and a white woman too.
I wonder if there is a way to see what the majority age of voters that voted against this in these states are? Probably not huh?

Probably the same population the always turns out to vote in high numbers, white middle-aged and older individuals.

yes guys, because the only people opposed to gay marraige are racist old white people. talk about being bigots. you will find that more minorities attach themselves to a religion then whites. as such, on issues that are viewed as moral issues, I think you would (obviously) be suprised to find that minorities vote against things like gay marraige as much as whites.

I didn't mention anything about WHITE/BLACK/BROWN/PURPLE/GREEN/FUSCIA ...
I SAID OLD PEOPLE!!! because I'm a firm believer that there are a lot more old people that are against it because of their "morals and values"
and I stand by that! Call me a bigot if you'd like because YES I am intolerant of old people ... I live in Florida!!
