    WOW..I'm STUNNED...where do people get the MONEY for these? I mean..don't get me wrong..it's a PHENOMONAL card..but even in todays economy..who has THAT much to dump on cards??

    You would be shocked who collects cards and has tons of money to spend on them. Take nicholas cage for example. He collects comic books. You think if he sees a comic he wants he thinks twice about getting it. I would say probably not. So it all depends on who is buying.

    Now he claims he's broke and is trying to sell off houses, and stocks, etc to make money.
    Sometimes no matter how bad you want someting you just have to make sure it's worth it in the long run.

    As much as I love collecting basketball cards, no way I would spend such a huge amount for a card. That's insane. There are better things in life, more important. I mean, its just a card, of plastic with a very small piece patch and auto. For that amount you could arrange a meet and greet with the player himself and even kiss him on the cheek if he lets you though :lol
