I am sure many players could name calls that didn't go their way or did. Totally understand while Leaf fans would still be bitter.

True - Kings up 2-0 - game 6 would have been back at the forum (if Montreal wins 3 straight)
Totally different series......Wo knows what the outcome would have been

That was also some pretty good acting by Gilmour....Not saying that it happened but he slid pretty far face down on the ice - what are the odds he cut himself?

Let's not forget that Doug Gilmour headbutted Marty McSorely earlier in the game - and didn't get called for it. If he did, Dougy gets thrown out of the game and then what? It goes both ways, baby!

Yes Luc, they were tipped off. Because not a single professional hockey player can tell the difference in illegal sticks!

A conspiracy would have been to have someone go into the locker room and tourch all of Gretzky's blades and call him on the stick, not Marty McSorley!

being a kings fan, i still ask the question why does mcsorley need an illegal stick? it makes no sense which is probably why Luc thinks they were tipped off. either way, it's not the Habs fault for calling him on it. it's marty's fault for using an illegal stick when he hardly ever touched the puck.
