Match Attax 2009/2010 Germany

Can't wait! 10 days until this product is released on the 24th. Anyone have any info on the checklist or product details?
Here is the Topps.de website;

And it looks like there is a presale already on ebay

I just hope if Schweinsteiger is a Limited Edition that I won't have to pay through the roof to get one.

I like that these cards are commplimentary to the English League Match Attax. It would be nice to have an Italian Serie A - but I do not think Panini will allow it to happen.
even more so, it would be great to have MLS Match Attax to compete with the poor Upper Deck product that has been issued in recent years.
I will be "ripping" a Topps fantasy pack later today. (see new thread)

You don't like the MLS card set?
Even though I don't follow MLS, I think they have some pretty decent sets mainly for their interesting autographed and GU cards. Of course it's a shame they couldn't get Blanco and Beckham signatures for their auto's but otherwise not bad IMO.
If I'm not mistake, previous Match Attax sets have NOT had any GU or auto cards, correct?

Actually, I do not care for Upper Deck MLS cards. Although there are some nice sub set cards - the autographs on stickers and the lack of selection is why I am less than pleased.
The other aspect is the false advertizing that there was a Beckham autograph in their sets. Many collectors wrote to the company - yet they kept it on their web site. That is unprofessional.

For that there is no excuse, unprofessional indeed.
However as a huge Mexican football league fan I would love to have a MFL set issued similar to MLS' with it's GU and auto cards, heck even a Match Attax set would be good.

There are actually some nice Mexican sets. The other nice thing is the regional stuff that can be found - from cereal boxes to snacks that feature Mexican player cards.
I wish there was more of that for MLS. Although in recent years there were Nabisco cards that were produced.

MLS has lagged in marketing cards to the collector.

True I enjoy collecting those but unfortunately those sets are not annual for the most part and of course no GU/AUTO cards which would be great.
I'd love it if Upper Deck ventured into the Mexican league like they've done with Manchester United in the past, probably just a pipe dream though...
