Ahh.. I was wondering what a "Nook" was when I saw this thread - now I know. It's the same deal as Amazon's "Kindle"... but what a lot of people don't seem to realize is that eBooks have been around for quite some time (though obviously the devices are evolving - I've been reading eBooks on my Palm Zire and before that my Palm Tungsten.. for quite some time.. I actually find it more enjoyable than "real" books!
Now that the Kindle is available in Canada I'm looking into picking one up.. let me know what you think of the Nook!

with tax and a light I paid around 300.00
Yeah This is my xmas gift from everyone (I gathered up money early to order it)
I will review it when it arrives but I am counting down the days till it ships lol .
I heard there isn't any demo editions going to product reviews early , everyone will have to wait to check it out but im hoping its not true and we can find a hands on review of Nook vs Kindle
