Possible Conspiracy To Falsify Temperature Data Uncovered
Possible Conspiracy To Falsify Temperature Data Uncovered
E-mail messages between high-ranking scientists appear to indicate a conspiracy by some of the world's leading global warming alarmists to falsify temperature data in order to exaggerate global averages.
Those involved allegedly include: James Hansen, Director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies; Michael Mann, famous for Mann's "Hockey Stick"; Gavin Schmidt, NASA climate modeler, and; Stephen Schneider, Stanford professor and Al Gore confidant.
A statement released Friday by the alarmist website RealClimate has confirmed that e-mail servers at the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit (CRU) in Norwich, England, were hacked recently with contents illegally made available over the Internet.
Although the authenticity of all these e-mail messages has yet to be proven, what's currently available points to a coordinated attempt to manipulate climate data by those directly involved in advancing the theory of anthropogenic global warming.
New Zealand's Investigate magazine reported Friday that it has verified these e-mail messages are indeed real:
It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

The truth? Why yes, yes it would...how right wing of me. I would like to think everyone would want the truth, but I know that isn't so.

what do you guys think about this?
i really dont know what to believe, but im leaning towards global warming not actually happening. which is funny because im writing a group paper right now about how global warming is affecting the earth hahaha

This doesn't mean "global warming" isn't happening or isn't man made, but it should cause more people to question the science behind it and realize it's just another political movement.

I heard from a lot of GW debunkers, before this even came out that James Hansen falsified NASA documents before in favor of global warming. I don't know who can confirm that as I have searched online but am very skeptical on everything I read. Just as I am on this. I didnt read the whole article but from what I remember his name was only in the recipients list o at least one of the emails.
That would make two claims that he is falsifying documents and he is the leading scientist in the GW movement. Even if both claims are lies it still should bring out the possibility that there can be misplaced power among these top scientists. This really sucks for people like me that buy into manmade global warming. I still do believe it is happening or can happen but am becoming more skeptical on the amount of impact we actually make on temperature.

I don't think you value the truth. The vast majority of Americans don't. The vast majority of Americans think more along the lines of, "I've got my worldview just how I want it, and I don't care if it's realistic or not because it makes me feel happy and superior." And when people like you use the word truth, I find that more often than not, you're really talking about worldview-enforcing dogma. Prove otherwise, if you can.
Yeah, that's what you say about evolution and Big Bang cosmology.
