trade rumors have Cam Barker of the Blackhawks going to the Senators for picard and ryan shannon. please dont do this blackhawks, Barker is my favorite player and i will be VERY ANGRY if he gets traded.

other rumor is instead of Barker they will trade Brent Sopel to Toronto. but they did not say who they would get.

Please trade sopel and not barker.

They have to trade someone becasue they are very tight on salary and they are trying to resign toews kane and Keith. barkers salary is about 3 million a year and sopels is about 2 mil a year.

All of us hawks fans know that a couple of people will have to get moved. Most fans want either Huet or Campbell traded, but we all know that is not going to happen because of their contracts. I think we will see either Barker or Sopel and Sharp moved. I just hope they are trade to an eastern team so they don't come back and bite us in the a** during the season.

well, i heard on the radio on the way home from school while listening to the csn announcers (comcast sportsnet). then when i got home i looked it up online cuz i was very mad.

Hmm so Blackhawks fans are hearing this rumour as well, thought it was only in Ottawa. Well I can tell you right now majority of Ottawa fans are hoping this doesn't happen. Sens need the salary cap space for the coming season to give Volchenkov a raise.
