Barack Obama???
Has anyone ever sent a baseball to Mr. Barack Obama? Or anything else to get autographed? If so, did you ever get it back, and was it free?

The President of the United States does not respond to ttm requests. Do you know how many K-12 classes are writing the President on any given school day? The numbers just do not work.

When Clinton was in office I sent a LOR and got back an 8x10 PP. You can also try the White House website and make a request.

I try to wait until the President has been out of office for a term or 2 before I send to them. It seems that this way you have a better chance at getting an authentic signature.

he isnt all that tough IP if you get the chance. just put your name on the back of the photo aand give it to one of his handlers. he will sign it back stage. DO NOT attempt to have him sign it as he walks by. secret service will scream at you. I thought they were going to jump over the railing and beat me lol

When I went to a Hillary Clinton rally(only reason I went is I was given a VIP ticket) I pulled out a pen while I was sitting there just to be ready for hopefully an auto. One agent was right next to me in about 2 seconds and I think I saw him wave off another one. It was really intense. He was cool about it and explained she had her own pen to sign if she wanted to. I ended up talking to him for about a minute before she came out and he was a cool guy. In the end he ended up suggesting she work the rope line in front of us and the then Senator talked to me for a minute about NY and actually grabbed another person's campaign issue flier, signed it, and gave it to me.

I had read on another site that the First Lady has been known to sign TTM c/o her office, but not Obama due to volume of requests.

Those Secret Service guys can be a little uptight. When I was in highschool Reagan came to my town to speak at the local college. I was in band and we had to play for the people waiting to see Reagan. To make a long story short those guys can't take joke.
