Clyde, the only cards that get sent back are cards that dont carry an actual beckett value... my first order had 107 cards and all 107 cards got posted to the site. So if you think about it, you can probably come up with the handful of cards your getting back, cause they are more than likely not properly liscensed or they just didnt find a book value on them.
As for your "missing" cards just a thought but could those be doubles? so basically you have 2-3 of them same card, but its only appearing to be 62 total. 62 different cards but 68 or so total with the doubles you have?
Either way, sounds like were all starting to experience problems with the site. I guess that should have been expected. The most recent news with me, I had 2 shipments i requested be sent over the black friday weekend. One was a shipment of around 40 cards, the other was just 3. Well ive been waiting for this package of 40 cards to show, as its been longer since i requested that one. Well yesterday a package shows, and its the smaller one of the two, that was requested after the bigger one! So basically im yet to receive a package of 40 cards, and its not lookin good! I have no idea why id receive the smaller one first, especially considering i requsted in 2 days after the other one! Fingers Crossed, i hope i dont get shafted i had some killer PC cards in that package!

Travl, to try easing your mind, and seeing it's the holidays, there could easily be a delay randomly caused by which given the facts I don't think would be an unlikely scenerio.
Perhaps the package got held up while in transit. I can say that the postal service is in the upper positive echelon when it comes to ratio of successful deliveries to not.

I do not think that is accurate b/c I currently have 5 cards listed on their site that do NOT have a book price.

But do they not have a book price because they are of shorter print runs that Beckett doesn't list because of the number of cards out there, or are they not listed in Beckett altogether?

Both, I think one or two of them may be low #'d but I know some of them are parallel versions of a card that are NOT listed in beckett.

You may have a point there. They mis-labeled several parallels I sent in using the base set name, and I did send in the same cards from a base set. That may account for the missing cards. Though, I still counted more than 15 cards that didn't get listed. I'll see if I can work out the math on this. I really wish they'd just let us enter set information for cards that aren't listed in Beckett. I have a lot of Japanese, oddball and minor league stuff I'd love to list and they're really handicapping themselves, and potential sellers, by sticking with only what Beckett acknowledges.

I have quick questions concerning site traffic and searching.
How does it all work out?
When someone comes to buy at COMC, how do they generally browse around?
Do they look at the top sellers or those with larger inventories?
I'm basically in search of knowledge as to how my cards are positioned out there and what adjustments can be made.
Thank you!

Good question, Brian. Honestly I don't know. When I browse for cards though, I usually look by player name or the set. When I'm looking for a card to flip, I usually go to the sellers link and look for the seller with the biggest discount.

What I would like to see is hits on your cards to see the traffic they might be getting. I know I lowered the prices on my stuff quite a bit and have sold some more stuff.
