Ranking this years sophmores so far!

This is my individual ranking, feel free to give your top ten

    1. Brook Lopez- I'm a bit biased but he is with in tenths of averaging a 20 and 10 this season. Combine that with his block number and you can see how amazingly well he is doing.

    2. OJ Mayo- Averaging 17.7 points a game, a bit less then last year, OJ Mayo is still lighting it up. His drop in ppg might be contributed to Zach Randolph and Rudy Gay's bigger roles on the team.

    3. Russell Westbrook- Proving himself this year Westbrook is doing great as a PG and has a bright future.

    4. Derrick Rose- Probably will still be the best out of the class but without Ben Gordon Rose is struggling.

    5. Eric Gordon- Though he was sidelined by injuries Gordon was averaging 17.9 ppg and rocking it. If he comes out of the injury performing the same he could be in the top 3.

    6. Jason Thompson- Has been a rebounding star at 9.1 a game and averaging a solid 15 ppg as well, hope he keeps it up.

    7. Kevin Love- He is averaging 13pts and 12 reb a game. His efficiency rating is +19.86 so yeah

    8. Micheal Beasley- Averaging about 15 ppg and 7 rebounds Beasley is developing well and hopefully one day will be a all-star.

    9. Marc Gasol- Averaging 14.4 and about ten rebounds Marc Gasol has been a great disguise.

    10. Anthony Morrow- Can't put him in earlier because he is so streaky but some of his games have really showed his potential to be the next great 3 point shooter in the NBA.

As we are seeing this year it is a very strong class. I have found it very surprising that Brook Lopez is leading sophmores in PPG and BPG. This list is based on stats and potential.

Honorable Mentions: Roy Hibbert, Mario Chalmers, Kevin Love, CDR

Feel free to make your own list of this great class.

Putting him in Honorable Mentions because not sure he will keep it up. He's only played like 10 games this year right?

What's up with Beasley being on the list twice?

    7. Micheal Beasley- Averaging about 15 ppg and 7 rebounds Beasley is developing well and hopefully one day will be a all-star.

    8. Micheal Beasley- Averaging about 15 ppg and 7 rebounds Beasley is developing well and hopefully one day will be a all-star.

Wow I know Derrick Rose has struggled but I don't think he deserved to be lower than Marc Gasol (who has cool down considerably) and Eric Gordon (been out with injury)

I think my ranking will be like this (just accounting for this season so far):

    1) Brook Lopez
    2) OJ Mayo
    3) Derrick Rose
    4) Westbrook
    5) Michael Beasley
    6) Marc Gasol
    7) Jason Thompson
    8) Eric Gordon
    9) Kevin Love
    10) CDR

    My rankings:

    1) Brook Lopez
    2) Michael Beasley
    3) Kevin Love
    4) OJ Mayo
    5) Marc Gasol
    6) Eric Gordon
    7) Russell Westbrook
    8) Derrick Rose
    9) Jason Thompson
    10) Chris Douglas-Roberts

Thing is, Marc Gasol cooling down was to be expected, since they added Zach Randolph...on the flip side, Derrick Rose should be improving since Ben Gordon is gone, yet he's not...as for Gordon, I was basing it on his play when healthy...same with Kevin Love.
