    Brandon Jennings fined for "Tweet"

The NBA announced today that Bucks rookie guard Brandon Jennings has been fined $7,500 for posting a message on his Twitter account in violation of NBA rules. On Saturday, December 12, a message was posted on Jennings’ Twitter account immediately following the Bucks’ 108-101 double overtime win over Portland at the Bradley Center.

Jennings “tweeted” the following message in the locker room immediately after the game:

‘Back to 500. Yess!!! "500" means where doing good. Way to Play Hard Guys.’

What's up with NBAers violating the Twitter rule? Just wait half an hour for crying out loud!

He made a tweet celebrating the win and praising his teammates, and he gets fined $75,000. Something is wrong with that picture, David Stern needs to put his dictator manual away.

Why should you have to wait a half hour after a big win to celebrate it on twitter? That's absolutely ridiculous. You just won a big game....you're excited. I guess you can't share your excitement with others on twitter right after a big win? Stupid stupid stupid.

I don't know about you guys, but after the Browns beat the Steelers last week, I didn't wait a half hour to celebrate it.......one of the dumbest rules I've EVER heard of.

My bad, saw an extra 0 lol. 7500 is still too much for celebrating a win and praising his teammates.
