I don't like it when people post an auction like that saying people pays too much.

I would have paid the same amount for the MVP Super Script /25 of Jake without any hesitation. I have overpaid a lot of my Voraceks and I don't care because I like him a lot and that's all that matter.

You guys don't even follow all the players, how can you judge them? Raymond is a terrific player with great speed and good hands. It's not because he is not named Crosby that he's not a good player. Stop looking at the statistics only and watch hockey games.

Everybody collects Crosby because he is good, a few people only collects somebody because they really like him and follow him. I can tell you that I enjoy more seeing a Show and Tell with 3 low end cards of a person who is truly passionate about the hobby and love his player than the guy who has $2000 worth of Ovechkin BGS 9.5.

i like mason raymond and know he's a terrific player, but i was just making a point that paying $30-$50 for a super script of him was a little out of whack, especially since it basically doubled the other 2 rc patch autos. ik the super script is "rare" even though i've seen about 5 of them on ebay in a week but a simple parallel selling more than a rc patch auto is odd to me. just my opinion....

did you follow him back in 07/08. his rookie patch autos were going for way more than now. heck you would have been lucky to get one for under $75 dollars. I know because it took me a few months to get a SPA and Hot Prospects patch. and when i did finally get them the patches were amazing. Believe me Canuck fans are rabid. Maybe even more so than Habs, or Leafs fans. Maybe before making these posts you should follow the prices for a little to see what they are. and not just look in a Beckett

i follow the prices, trust me there were 2 super scripts later in the week that went for $5 and $7. but ask a random collector what they would want more, a raymond super scripts /25 that's not even a rc or a hot prospects rc patch auto and most people would go with the latter. i follow callahan's cards everyday to know that beckett isn't close to perfect, his spa patch is booked at $50 and i've seen basic patches consistently sell for $30, i don't need a beckett to know what a card probably goes for normally.

i just looked for raymond under completed sales cause ik he's doing pretty well scoring wise at the moment and found it weird that on a page of rc's, autos and jsy/patches that a parallel was one of the highest sales if not the highest, thats all....

I have NHL Center Ice, I guess it's okay as well?

Not looking to create a war ya know, but I really think that most persons don't follow hockey a lot.

I have to agree with the fact that most people don't follow hockey that much. I have NHL Center Ice as well and catch at least 1 game a day sometimes watch one at 7 and one at 10 or 10:30 if they are on.

i'm only 16 and i like to think i follow a decent amount of hockey, especially since the only games i get are rangers, islanders and devils, and some of those are even blacked out. but i have the nhl network so i watch nhl on the fly everyday and anything else that i can. i'm not saying i watch mason raymond all the time and know everything about him but ik enough that he's pretty fast and is a good goal scorer.

what i dont like is when people like one team and know nothing else about the rest of the league, like most of the people in my school who like the sabres but don't even know martin brodeur. i guess i'm getting off topic here...but u get my point. i guess i won't post any more threads like this
