NBA players and Tattoos
Just looking through my cards I noticed that a large percentage of NBA players have tattoos now. I'm not talking one or two tats, but full sleeves. Why is this only in the NBA? Other sports aren't trending like this. As a grumpy old guy, I think it looks unprofessional. Then again, they're only playing a game... not representing me in court. Thoughts?
Now get off my lawn.

at the last line!
As for the reasoning behind it, the only thing that I can come up with is that basketball is the only major sport with no sleeves - baseball players wear longsleeved shirts, football players may expose their forearms, but that's it, and hockey...well, does hockey really need an explanation? THEY ARE ON ICE! lol
That's the only reason I can come up with though...

It's huge in NFL aswell.
I like it, but thats just me, Personally, i "sleeved" my right arm, working on my left.
And as many people say that get tattoos, they put the ink on the body instead of the wall. Just like me !

Players started jumping on the trend in the late '90s, and it hasn't slowed down at all - in fact, we have more human graffiti walls than ever!
On another side, it looks like cornrows are finally starting to die out, however. I've seen a mohawk resurgence the last couple of years, though it isn't catching on quite like cornrows did in the late '90s.
