What makes it even sadder is its SO close to Christmas!

This is the second time in 7 years for our family. Seven years ago I lost my mother during the holidays because of a car accident on December 4. This time it was because of natural causes and it was my wife's step father. So we kind of know how to deal with it a little. I am more worry about the mother in law. She took it rough especially at the grave site. I know Christmas is on Friday and his birthday is on 1/1. She would hug me and did not want to let go.

I can not help out much because we live 800 miles away. But we checked up on her yesterday and making sure is fine. We just got back on Tuesday. We will check up on her more often now. That is all we can do.
