Anyone know if you can see cards recently sold on COMC?

Gladdy- not that i know of, can this be done... but if you read the blog or forum, they talk about things that might get updated,... they also take feedback, so im sure if enough of us commented towards something like that, it wouldnt hurt...

Since July 09 I've sold (89) cards for $60.68. Most of them have been baseball inserts.

I have bought quite a bit from other sellers. I have found that you don't really get any steals but can negotiate a decent deal from most sellers.

Overall it's just another outlet to buy and sell cards. Shipping can be just as bad as ebay (3.00+ .25 per card)

$3 plus .25 cents per card is no where near as bad as ebay!! when you buy a card on ebay your lucky to find reasonable shipping... or for that matter, someone to combine your shipping. lets say you buy 50 single cards on ebay over a span of a month or two... if you pay $3 per card to have them shipped to you thats a $150 bucks! now lets say you buy 50 cards Comc, and wait and have them all shipped at once, (not even getting into the bulk shipping rates comc) lets just say $3 for first card, plus .25 for each additional... that comes to $12.25 + the initial $3 so your talkin $15 to ship 50 cards... thats not even figuring their prices for bulk shipping which would be cheaper!

Now say what you want about it being as pricey as ebay, i know for a fact that aint the case! If your buying cards every day on ebay like we all have, you pay shipping individually... where as here no matter who you buy from your cards can be bundled together, and shipped together! in no way is that the same as ebay

    I have three questions

#1: Would it be ok If I shipped my cards in team bags then put them in a bubble mailer, then put the bubble mailer in a small Flat-Rate box?

#2: Let's say I want to buy one card for $3 and on for $2 and I don't have any money in my account. I would be waiting for my cards to sell. would I be able to buy the $3 card so I have it guranteed and then a few days later buy the $2 one then pay for shipping? Or do I have to pay for shipping when I buy the cards

#3: Do you guys sell base/inserts with a bv around $2.50-$4? How do they do?

    Metallica-

#1, id say as long as they are in penny sleeves inside that team bag... it shouldnt be a problem... i usually put them into a small cardboard box (those 200ct ones or whatever) all in penny sleeves, and then put that small box into a priority mail box

#2, im not sure i understand this question... but let me try, your not able to buy anything or make any offers if the money isnt in your account. The second you make an offer, or decide to buy the card outright, your funds are either transfered to them, or held for them to make the descision on your offer... Your cards you buy can sit in your account as long as you want... you can request a single card to be shipped home, or you can wait til you build up 25-50 cards and then send them all home... In other words, you dont pay for shipping until you decide to have them shipped home.

#3, i sell a little bit of everything... for the most part though, the cards i sell are in the $1-5 range... I probably sell one or two cards everyday in that range... if your wondering if some of your inserts or base would be good on the site, check if theres any others of that particular card on the site, and if so check what they are asking for them, if you have a $5 card, but there 75 of them on the site already, and the cheapest one goin is for .24 cents, chances are your card like that isnt going to sell either... its going to sit there with the other 75 of them.

Hope this helps, if you have any further questions, feel free to PM me... ill do the best i can in helpin you guys out...

My best advice to all though, would be venture out, get your feet wet! Its so easy and fun, it would be hard to screw it up!

it is pretty hard to screw up...and very addicting. Very good explanation of how things work there, Travln.

Has anyone else gotten their Christmas/Holidays card with what look like business cards? What are they?

I don't even know what it is. It's the size of a business card and it came in their Christmas/holiday card. Didn't you get one? I might be able to get a scan of it on here tomorrow (I'll be watching hockey all night).

I like that Jagr you got too.
