To me bv or sv of a card is not the bottom line. If you collect a certain player(s) why would you not be willing to give up a little more than you are receiving especially when it's a card that's a little harder to come by.

    Ok, but giving up double?

If he sells the Stamkos. He gets 35 PP. Now he can buy the Sakic /10 for that same price. Isn't that better?

bv on the trade comes out just about even. So i guess it's a good trade, plus he picks up a PC card.

Who cares about BV. Beckett has issues. Stamkos should be 80 at least.

All I am saying is he could of picked up the same card and got $20 in his pocket. I mean if he is happy then yay. But I'd say he lost out on the trade.

Beckett has lots of issues, dating all the way back to the early '90s.

Exactly. I've traded cards of Star players(kane ovy malkin etc.) to get nice Gagner, Oilers, and Price stuff. In my mind it was worth it because I love collecting my players moreso than those star players.

Btw, I would rather have the Sakic. Stamkos ygs are still easy to get and pull. And Sakic autos, like you said, are hard to come by.

I have two lines of thought here...part of me sides with lakers, and part of me sides with Zunato.

If he could have got the card and pocketed the extra money, great. So that would mean bad deal.

But I trade over BV for my PC guys, so I probably would have done the same thing here.

So...it all depends on the situation. never a bad trade if both people involved are happy about the outcome (over trading in SV or BV aside).

Thanks for all your comments guys. I think I made off pretty good because Sakic autos you can only find on eBay for decent selling prices. With the Stamkos, sure I could have made $35 bucks, but trading it for a PC player for me is priceless. I just wanted to see your reactions on the matter. THanks for all your help.
