Who is this years best draft pick?
i think that labron will be something special but i think that darko and carmello will be the ones to watch.

a number of players taken will be good, but in a while
Bosh- he should evolve into a Jermain O"Neal type player, but he'll need to mature, he came out as a freshman, raw unlike Melo and James, so its almost as good as coming out of high school
Wade- although he was great in college, he'll have to adjust ot the NBA
others will have surprising impact
Pietrus- he should be a great swingman, and i believe he will be starting by the end of the season, he resembles a rookie T-Mac, and no i am not making that comparison for the long run
others will be busts
Milicic- dont think he'll be all that much better than another #2 pick, Shawn Bradley
Kannan- i mean come on, he has less upside than Milicic
others are obvious and dont need explanations
James, Anthony

How can you compare him to Bradley? He can shoot better than most in the league, and can even shoot 3 pointers. He's no different than Yao, except he's a great shooter.
And have you even watched Kaman play?

naturally, it will have to be Lebron
That said, I love the fact the Lakers were able to steal Luke Walton (son of Bill) in the 2nd round!!
An experienced college athlete, who should fill in nicely with Devean George while Rick Fox is recovering

yea that is seriously a great pick up for the lakers!! walton would of been a first round draft pick if he didnt get injured towards the end of the season

I think Lebron is a little ove - but i think Dwayne Wade will be good, as will Carmelo, Troy Bell, and Nick Collison. Really hard to pick.
