You bring this up, yet you say not to bring up the past to most anything that doesn't pertain to the Lakers...

It's obvious the Lakers battle through injuries better than the Celtics.
Who cares how many points we score? You didnt say anything when we put up 130 against the Mavs

But you make it seem like since they don't have a superstar, they aren't that good...and therefore teams should be blowing them out.
I also think it's funny that you don't mention Cleveland as a great defensive team, when they're clearly the best defensive team year in and year out.

Big win last night. We, (yes, we) got a great performance from a sick Odom, and it's nice to see our, (yes, our) team rolling without Gasol. WOoooooo!!!

Ok, how does that have any relation to anything that we were discussing? I wasn't talking about any injuries at all...it seems like you fall back on something that suits your thoughts rather than coming up with legit stats/arguments.
As a matter of fact, I did say something about the Lakers performance against the Mavs. Check post #154.
Didn't say that though...and I wasn't implying it...but, can you not agree that a team should put up more than 88 points, at home mind you, against a team with no great player, or a great defensive presence?
I hope you are joking...Cavs are decent on defense, but are not the best defensive team year in and year out. I'm assuming you were joking based on the
, but you can never tell with a Cavs fan...lol, just kidding.

I keep talking about injuries because ur not impressed. When out Big man goes down, obviously we're not going to score as many points as we are suppose to. We lose a 20pt guy. But we still pull out the victories because of the defense.
What is there to argue about? You come in and try to downplay the Lakers when they just do what is expected. Win Win Win
Lakers are the best in the NBA as of right now. Nothing to debate, except who the 2nd best team is.
I must of missed it.

Wow, Nathan. Really? You honestly don't think the Cavs are the best defensive team in the league year in and year out?
07-08: 1st total defense, 1st in opponents FG%, 2nd in opponents PPG
08-09: 1st total defense, 1st in opponents FG%, 1st in opponents PPG
09-10: 1st total defense, 1st in opponents FG%, 3rd in opponents PPG (so far)
But yea...they're just 'decent' on defense.Last edited by nadeau01_johnson48; 01-06-2010 at 05:00 PM.
