Obama to Massachusetts
Apparently, Democrats are so hurting they can't even win a Senate seat in Massachusetts!
This shows me that Democrats are in for a MAJOR beating this November. If you are a Democrat and can't win in Massachusetts (didn't Obama win by 27 points???) then you can't win in battle grown states. Massachusetts is by far one of the most liberal states in the US.
Hopefully, the people in Massachusetts see Obama's visit as negative and vote in Brown!

Just wondering here, but is there ever a time you don't bash Obama? If McCain was president and did the exact same things so far, i guarntee you wouldn't post half the negative things that you do for Obama

This is not bashing Obama. This is showing how vulnerable the Democrats are. This would be the equivalent of Republicans in a state they have won for 40+ years. Obama's poll numbers are terrible and to ask him to come to Massachusetts shows how desperate they are!
Can you show me where I bashed Obama in this thread?

Kinda was a generalization that i was going with...Not exclusively this thread, but i have never seen you give Obama any slack, nevermind the fact we are in a horrible economic state, lets give him barely 1 year, to reflect what he'll do for the next 3..
I don't deny Obama sucks so far, but i'm not prepared to bash him till his term is over

I have given Obama some slack on things he's done that I agree with...but he's done many more things I don't agree with. And I think it's wrong of people to hold their tongues while our government officials are doing things they disagree with until their term is up. Politicians are supposed to be serving the American people...how do they know what the American people want if they only speak once every two or four years? Look at it as a football season...if you're a Detroit Lions fan, do you wait until the end of the year to say they suck and ask for something to be done about it? Most people don't...most people complain every week. What's the difference? The President and other officials have "games" throughout their "season" as well. And there's nothing wrong with "fans" complaining after their politicians go 0-4 through the first quarter of the season.

That is the equivalent to giving a QB in the NFL four years to work things out! I'm sorry, but a President can do a lot of damage in one week let alone four years. There is a reason why Matt Leinart is NOT the QB in Arizona. The Cardinals would NOT have the season they had last year or this year with him.
There is a reason why the health care bill today is MUCH different than it was when first introduced. People voiced their opinions strongly and the "public option" and "kill all the seniors" options were removed.
Sorry, but I won't hang out for 4 years. I didn't bash President Bush that much because I agreed with President Bush a lot. He didn't try to bring Communism/Socialism to America and raise taxes.

I wouldn't of voted for Obama/McCain, I felt they both were bad selections, well especially McCain with Palin, had he chose someone who is not Sarah Palin, he probably wins the election...
I just find it funny, would Mike do the same things to McCain that he does to Obama, because even if not admitted, we all knew McCain was no good either, most presidents selected in the period we're at right now wouldnt do much good...
And for the Lions comment, I say they suck every day of my life, and thank my mom that i wasnt brought up as a Lions fan, and thank myself for being an Eagles fan since i started watching football.
