    Giant Top Loaders: Where?

    Hey Guys,
I'm located in Vancouver, B.C., CANADA and I'm looking for someone who sells those really thick/wide/big/what-ever top loaders that can fit really thick patch cards or The Cup Cards. I think they're 130pt or 150pt top loaders. They came in 5 count packs and I used to have a bunch, but the store I used to buy them from has since gone out of business. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    The Fat Man

I get my stuff at bcwsupplies.com.

I like the fact that they take paypal. They have both 150pt and 120pt top-loaderes.

There has to be more than one hobby shop in Vancouver, isn't there? If your looking to fit Cup cards you need 130pt, and I recommend one-touches rather than top loaders. They are double the price but they are far better to store your nicer cards in.

I'm sure you could also email Darren at Maple Leaf Sports (http://www.mapleleafsports.ca) in Calgary and he would be glad to ship you some out and they will be there in a couple days. [email protected] if your interested, and I can vouch for Darren and his shop and service!

charvey9 - Good idea and supplier, but shipping from the US to Canada isn't really ideal considering you can get dinged at the border for duty and brokerage. Plus the shipping costs are usually very high. Better off to buy from a Canadian dealer. I

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the heads-up. And as far as I know, there are no longer any hobby shops in Vancouver proper. There's Golden Age, but they only sell very few hockey boxes and the prices are crazy high due to their location (downtown=tourists). Also, they are VERY limited as far as supplies go. There's some place on Hastings that still has stock from 1991 at 1992 prices. And a place in a very shaddy downtown mall that only seems to sell gamers stuff. Other than that, Vancouver proper has... nothing. But thanks for the info. Greatly appreciated!

    Hey Don,
Yes, I checked out that "store". It was the one with the 90's product at inflated 90's prices. It was bizzare. It was like I stepped through a time machine. He had boxes of Proset for $30, one open box of 05/06 Parkhurst at around $10/pack ("You can get the Crosby RC in there!"), etc. Horrible place with comics from the 90's covered in dust, show cases with 90's product covered in dust at prices 10-30 times the current going rate. It was a huge waste of my time. But yes, thank you for the suggestion
