sorta saw this rumor on ESPN

so i went into the ESPN TRADE MACHINE and worked something out

This trade involves Cleveland, Minnesota, Washington, and Phoinex

Cleveland sends
J.J Hickson(to Washington)
Zyndruns Illgaskus(to Phoinex)

Minnesota sends
Mark Blount(To Washington)
Brian Cardinal(To Phoinex)
Rights to Ricky Rubio(To Phoinex)

Washington sends
Antwan Jamison(to Cleveland)

Phoenix sends
Amare Stoudimire(to Minnesota)


Cleveland- Gets Antwain in essintly that would have went down with Washington anyway

Minnesota-Gets a big time player for this year and doesnt give up much to get him even if he leaves(rubios never gonna play for us anyways...)

Washington-Gets a nice young PF and an expiring contract

Phoenix- Gets amare out of town and gets a PG of the futre for after the nash era and picks up to expiring contracts...

Minnesota has no interest in trading Rubio's rights, supposedly, but I'd think that Amare would have to agree to an extension with Minny before they'd just do this...I mean, why trade away a big trade piece for someone who'll come and play for 10 weeks for us, and not do anything for the team, except possibly bringing in some more fans over the last 10 weeks, then leave?

Also, did ESPN really report this, or did you add in pieces? Just curious, as I haven't heard anything on this yet.

i agree hickson is really starting to show his skills

yea I dont know why hickson would be traded by the cavs, hes pretty good but I would see the logic in trading him at this point in the season but it would be very short sided and I think Hickson will be good going into the playoffs.

I'd rather get someone who'll be here longer than 10 weeks for Rubio...there were rumors we could've had David Lee and Nate Robinson for Rubio + cap filler prior to the season beginning...

What's the deal with Rubio? Will he eventually be in Minnesota, or has he completely ruled it out?
