Great stuff. I alway wonder why people start a collection of a certain player. What made you start a pc w/Toney?

Solid start to your Toney D. collection Adrian! I love those draft class autos from Panini Prestige and that SP Game-Used auto is nice

I ask myself the same thing, what makes me start a collection....
For example, my first real PC item was Charles Barkley. Just because back in 1991, my dad brought me to a card shop right before we watched a Sixers Jazz game, bought a pack of hoops which was a big deal for me then and got a Barkley card. Went to the game, got him to sign and the rest speaks for itself. Then I got fascinated by Michael Jordan so he became part of the PC.
I chose Brian Grant and Ron Mercer just because during their rookie years, I was looking to collect just one dude that nobody really paid attention too, so now my Grant and Mercer PC is 1500 cards strong.
I chose Toney Douglas because I have pretty much pulled every RC auto this year besides Sergio Llull and Demar Derozan. But I have traded most of it away during the early part of Panini's emergence just bc I was a hater. And I do not like to collect players that I traded the cards away, hate having to regret, so I decided on a Knicks guy. Love the Knicks and decided that why not, even though dumb-toni is screwing him over, might as well start something of him. It would stink if he moves on to another team but hes a solid player, better than mardy Collins and I think he has a future.

Yeah, definitely has more potential than Mardy Collins ever did. But dude I always wished we didn't trade for Marbury and had kept starting Frank Williams. Remember him? Man, he was playing good for us. We still had Keith Van Horn at the time too and then we also traded him for Tim Thomas I think. Psh, another bad timing of a trade. Like when we got rid of Z-Bo and Crawford. I wondered what that team would've done...

Z-Bo and Jamal Crawford, it was the money thing. I kinda wished Crawford mellowed down and developed into a Allan Houston type of player but he was just too shot happy. Keith Van Horn was a solid dude, and because teams kept trading him over and over again, that kinda takes the wind outtta you but I am happy to hear hes doing well outside basketball, smart man, continued his education.
and yeah Frank Williams was good, I think he coulda been better than Mo Williams...its just sad, that Frank Williams trade was so bad...Nene, Camby and Picks for McDyess and Frank...omg....

We also sent Mark Jackson to Denver. But yeah, that trade ended up being horrible. Thats another thing I still wonder about. What if the Dice Man hadn't gotten injured during the preseason game? He looked pretty good, ugh. But about Van Horn, I didn't like him on the Nets well thats because I despise that franchise but when he was a Knick...I really liked his game but good for him if he's doing well outside of basketball, that isn't the case for many basketball guys. I agree about the comparison with Mo Williams, ahhh what could've been bro! What could've been....SO many things with the Knicks...
