Shipping times from US to Canada, need help my Canadian Friends..

What would you say your average time it takes to get a standard bubble mailer from the US? Ive gotten a few "Disputes" on ebay this week from buyers and the cards have been shipped out approximately 2 weeks (10 business days) ago. Frustrating for US sellers like myself, I cant track shipment without charging an arm and a leg (registered mail), yet i get my funds held immediately when a hasty dispute is made. Keep in mind i have 646 positive FBs, and a 100% positive rating. Just want to know if the mail is going that slow these days, or if im getting taken for a ride! Time for the USPS to make their customs forms trackable, especially to Canada.

That's rediculous. I think internationally people should wait at least 4 weeks to begin to file a dispute. At that point I feel it's a little over due, but honestly a two week wait isn't completely unreasonable for customs. I've had cards take 5 weeks to get to me via Canada and it wasn't a big deal to me. As long as I get them is the main deal.

I completely agree with that. I've had them come as quick as 1 week (very rare though) up to over a month. No reason to open a dispute after only 2 weeks...especially with a FB like that.

2 weeks is nothing. 4 weeks is pretty common now, even if it's a border city. Customs gets the package, and it sits.

The longest ive ever had to wait for a package from the states is 2 weeks. But i agree, as far as i know, up to a month is usually normal.

For some reason shipments into Canada have been taking LONGER than expected lately and I too have felt the pain of Ebayers filing claim too soon. I agree with the others that it might 4 weeks (or longer). Good communication with the buyer usually puts them at ease and might buy you some additional time.

On a shipping positive...I live in Michigan and shipped 1st class to Sweden - the buyer received it in 4 days

I too agree, I just wanted to verify. Ive been saving for a purchase, and I would HATE to miss out on it because paypal holds my money unjustly :(

I live in Michigan too and stuff that I have sold on Ebay and shipped to the Scandanavian countries in particular usually gets there twice as fast as anything I ship to Canada, even Ontario, explain that.
