If only there wasn't a popular vote Ray Ray may be in there as well instead of Mr. Practice.

If there's an injury, he has a good chance of being named to the team...but, coaches may pass on him, as not to have 1/3 of the conference team from one team.

Ugh! Sheed has been terrible late in games and of all people he had to take that last shot...

I was just saying that to someone else...can't believe he took the last shot from 27' away...I wonder if they designed it for Ray to shoot it...would've made more sense if that was the case...

Ya I assume he was the 3rd option, but an air ball? Come on! He shoots 3s for god sake!
Hopefully the Cs can grab a win tonight agaisnt the Hawks.

They were speculating that it was an airball because he was 2-3' farther back than he normally is...but, that doesn't make too much sense to me, as it wasn't the length that was off (it was a little, but it would've hit rim)...it was the angle...went to the left of the hoop by 12-18".
A win tonight would prevent the Hawks from getting a season sweep of the Celtics.

Rough loss against Atlanta. I'm almost used to getting beat by Joe Johnson in the 4th quarter. I'm convinced that he is just as good as Kobe/LeBron in the clutch.
I dunno if you were a Celtics fan in the early 00's (I assume not), but I just remembered this:
Favorite Tommy Heinsohn quote EVER!
Celtics-Lakers tip off in a couple hours. Should be a good one!

No, wasn't a fan...wasn't really a huge sports fan in the early 2000's either...was kinda just getting into them. But anyway, can't view video's on my comp :-( But yeah, Joe Johnson is one of the most underrated players - ever.
Hope we can pull out a home victory over the Lakers...that would be awesome for two reasons - one, it's the Lakers, and two, it would serve as a good stepping stone for getting back on track.

Agree completely! The refs are killing us right now though, a couple ticky tac calls.

We've started off the 2nd quarter pretty nicely though! 10-4 run...TA has been doing very well with Pierce's foul troubles keeping him on the bench.
