    Buying single packs

I never bought single packs, only boxes or singles, so i was wondering if it´s safe to buy single packs from stores like dacardworld (blowout doesn´t ship to Portugal...)?

By safe i mean do you guys think they chose the packs or they honestly send them randomly?

I did not know that those stores sell single packs - thought it was just boxes. From established stores with a good reputation like Dave and Adams or blowoutcards I am pretty sure it is safe. From some other stores or some dealers at card shows(who let people, esp. kids feel the packs) it is not.

This is one of the problems that ruins the hobby and can make people feel like quitting.

Dave and Adams does sell packs, but usually in multiples of 3 or 4....I don't think you have to worry about them when it comes to searching...They are very reputable and want you to come back to shop there again

Cheap stuff they sell lots of 4 packs, but packs over $3 they sell them 1 by 1.

I was thinking about buying 1 pack from each of the last 15/20 sets released... i know this could easily pay for a box, but i want to open different stuff with different designs, although i run the risk of getting 0 hits.

Good to know - thanks for the info. I might consider doing that sometime.
