Book Value
Just had a quick question. When do the BV of this year's ITG H&P come out? I've been getting a lot of interested in my Schenn auto but don't want to trade it away and figure out it is worth more. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, should I just hang out to it for now and wait to trade it?

A reasonable rule of thumb is to check completed auction pricing and figure that should be just a couple bucks higher than low book when it comes out. High book will be close to double that.

This is an issue that affects a lot of newer members to the hobby.
In terms of value, just be sure to remember that Beckett is a book guide, not a boss. It helps to suggest relative values. If a player becomes hot and their prices jump, a book does not reflect this. Or a player becomes cold and prices drop, again, a book cannot reflect this.
If you absolutely need a free guide, why not try the SCF affiliate, tuff stuff. They publish a free, online viewable price guide:

If you still can't find the card you have and need an idea on price, eBay is a good place to check. Perform a completed search:

The Last two Schenn H&P autos sold for 20 & 25$ + s/h. For trade, why not ask for something that also sells for 20-25$ since book values does not always translate to sell value.
This same advice would apply to you as well tavares97. I would also like to remind people that you cannot ask for 'Beckett Values'. That's a one-time banning offence since the beckett values is copyrighted material. Check out the rules section XI. Everyone here was very careful to ask for "book value" or "BV", but I'd hate to see a banning if people accidentally equate book value with beckett values and then ask for this copyrighted material by accident.
Cheers,

Thanks a lot for the information! Very helpful. I've been getting a lot of offers on the card and didn't want to trade it away before I knew what ballpark of value I should ask for.

Beckett will post the values after they have finished the dartboard game for the set.
