I've hated the Avs since 96. I've hated Kariya since 98. Its a match made in heaven.

Damn thats the best bargain in NHL history. With the 8.8 million they saved on Kariya they could get Joseph easy. Only problem is Detroit won't trade him to there biggest rivals. Or they could get Sean Burke and sign Federov.

I wonder how the lines will look?? Forsberg, Sakic, Hejduk, Kariya, Selanne, Tanguay. Talk about lighting the lamp.

I think this is better than Detroit's top 2 lines were. The place where Detroit beats most teams is there 3rd and 4th lines. I'd take the Grind Line over Larsen Hinote and whats his name anyday.
