Panini Timeless Treasures, looking GOOD!
I was just checking out ebay and this is the first I have seen of the "Timeless Treasures"
http://cgi.ebay.com/2009-2010-Panini-Timeless-Treasures-Basketball-5-Box-Cs_W0QQitemZ360231801654QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Bask etball?hash=item53df7d1336
Looks like Panini is really trying hard trying to make an "Exquisite" like product.
Nice multi-colored patches, mostly on card AUTOs, big RC AUTOs, and FINALLY a Logoman!
Another sick card I saw was a Kareem Home/Away Dual Jersey + AUTO. Nice idea!
The seller is moving 5 boxes for about $500dlvd. Not too bad considering the Contenders and Limited cost about the same.
I will be buying some singles off ebay if the prices stay reasonable.
I was blown away by the popularity of Contenders, and the lack of popularity for Limited.
Perhaps this will far exceed the the Contenders product, so I can scoop some up on ebay for cheap!Last edited by nightbreedbeats; 02-12-2010 at 08:20 PM.

It's so sad to see High End with Stickers Auto.
But otherwise, looking sharp.

Yeah agreed, I thought most were on card AUTOs but upon further inspection most are sticker AUTOs. Weak!
The Laundry Tag cards with Team Logo are sick though.

The base cards do resemble Exquisite.
Gamers looks like something from the mid 2000's and alot of the others appear to be going for that semi-vintage almost Murad like look....
Only design that really thrills me is the Apprentice set.

It all will depend on how limited the rookies are and if they are on card /patch. Hopefully it will look nice but it doesnt show the rookie design.

Agree with you. The design look closer to mid-end stuff than high end though, it lacks something, maybe the air of refinement or classiness that exquisite cards have around them. Maybe the design looks a little bit too busy?

The set does look promising. I like the designs alot. They remind me of the National Treasures from football, they look real classical and high-end.

Agreed.
Definitely lacking that true classy/high end look and the color schemes are horrid.
And what a complete waste of space on that Brandon Roy card.
IDK, I'm just not feeling the painted/portrait look to the players.
We've been there already with Turkey Red and Murad for a reason, this just doesn't make sense.

I don't think this is to be considered high-end. More like Limited or those SP Sig Tins. It's $100 and not $300+ like NT. Panini's getting better at it. There's a couple designs in there that will sell very well imho.
