Should I keep waiting for this redemption?
I have been waiting for this card awhile now, I was wondering if I should keep waiting or take a chance at getting a sweet PC card in exchange. The status just says: Athlete committed to signing soon, please be patient.
CAREY PRICE/ MICHAEL RYDER/ SAKU KOIVU
2008-09 NHL TRILOGY 1-2-3 COMBO CLEARCUT AUTOS #ED TO 10 CD# CC3-KRP
I have no intentions of keeping it once it arrives but I know if I get it there will be some good offers from Price/Habs collectors. Should I take the chance at getting garbage or just be patient?

I'd go with the replacement option. That card lost a third of its interest when Ryder bolted to the Bruins, it lost a further third of its interest when Koivu departed for Anaheim, and it's hanging by a thread due only to the remaining Pricey collectors.
Think of it as comparable to pulling a Lidstrom-Hossa-Leino triple auto. A year ago this time (had Leino been eligible, work with me a bit LOL) that would have been one pretty awesome card for a Wings fan to have. Then Hossa bolted for money. Then Leino got traded. Suddenly, it's not as cool as it used to be.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

replace it. All 3 players are bad (
rich) and it's been a year since that product came out. The card is not being made. Get a nice PC card

Get a replacement and ask for Wings.

If you were never going to be attached to the card in the first place - I say go for a replacement.

It seems everyone agrees I should get a replacement. Now what bv do I put on the card? Considering Price still gets some hobby love and these cards are really hard pulls I was thinking at least $150

I like to have a general idea of what it's worth so they don't send me a Fisher BAP auto as a replacement again lol

still not how it works. THEY decide what its worth and send a replacement. they're not going to send you a BAP auto. They will most likely send you from a higher-up product that will be pretty nice. just tell them to replace it and what you want and then wait for it to come.

Actually they DO ask you what you think it's worth on harder to value cards if you're dealing with a rep. They have their own ideas but they like to see if you are thinking the same thing.
