I am sorry but there should be a no tolerance policy on memorballia. That there is a curve for this is sad. Proof has been given to mods were a person says the items are fake on another site and then tries to sell them here. Letting them stay on here makes me think it is nearly impossible to get banned. Why would you want this person as part of this community?

Ok..I see what you mean and that's a case where YES..the guy should be gone or just not allowed here. The point I'm trying to make is when we ban someone..we want to be 100% sure why we're banning someone..not just from hearsay or something was mistaken. We don't want to seem 'Ban Happy' is all I'm trying to say.

I just dont understand why it is taking so long for something to be done with this guy. It has been almost 6 weeks and the person whas not even suspended. It seems pretty cut and dry to me. I appoligize if it seems I am attacking you, I am not, I am just upset over the situtation.

I got one of these before: 1 point - Thread hijacking
But it was like a free play so-to-speak, ya know when the defense goes offside as the ball is hiked? You get to take a shot way down field.
Well that's what I did I entered a member popularity thread (should have been never allowed to be open!) and typed a rather mean comment expressing my displeasure with the thread.
I guess the defense wasn't offsides :)

Trust me..you're FINE..that's what this is all about. Get it off your chest..and we'll look into it. I personally, don't know about the situation you're referring to..but, you can BET I'm going to look into this myself now.
As far as the time thing goes. THere's usually some circumstances surrounding it. 90% of the time they don't get banned immediately cause they have 'open' trades. IF we ban them immediately, we run the risk of ALL those members just straight up being out of their cards. This way we work with the member and try to get the trades resolved either by product or returns. That's what makes it seem .. not seem..IS so long.
I've worked on several disputes where it took MONTHS to get back someones cards..if at ALL. You can ban them immediately..but, then get nothing.

Yeah a bad analogy
Sometime ago someone made a thread about who on this site was the most popular or most liked or most favorite member and after reading post after post of the nonsense I posted something mean I guess showing my displeasure with the thread itself (really can't remember what I wrote but it was considered hijacking)
I would consider a thread like that as equally unacceptable as a "who's the worst members on the site"
Anyways I'm rambling and going off topic and I can't come up with a good analogy
