Im proud of the boys no matter what. I also prefer Luongo for some reason i just feel more secure with him in net.

luongo has no cups. brodeur has a few. brodeur is clutch and knows what it takes to win big games. i'd feel comortable with brody in my net 8 days a week

I think the swiss are a decent team with an amazing goalie once again, they are a gritty bunch that keep working and have speed, I don't think this should be embarassing for canada, US only beat them 3-1 and swiss got lucky with their 2nd goal so canada should have won 2-1 in regulation. I do however think when making this team they should have added Stamkos, what was the Canada PP 1-7 or something stupid like that i mean c'mon, if they had Stamkos teeing it up like he does for the Lightning i bet they at least score 2 more goals, i think they should have put stamkos and green on Team Canada ahead of Bergeron or Staal and Seabrook.

I do think it is a good thing they got a hard fought win out of the way, hopefully makes it easier the rest of the way and gets the pressure off and they can go have fun against the US, which with a win they can still take 1st in their pool

Its not like that though. I dunno why I just prefer Luongo's butterfly style over Broedeur's more hybrid/stand up style. To me it seems like Louie lets in less "weak" goals. IDK it;s probably just because it seems like Marty always struggles vs the Leafs and thats the only time I really get to watch him. I respect the guy a ton though.

I'm a devils fan so this is Biased, but Marty > Luongo any day of the week. As was said he has always been far more clutch and I think his hybrid style really plays better than the butterfly of Luongo. He's always more square to shots and definitely covers the net better IMO. Luongo is a sick goalie don't get me wrong, but if I'm a Canada fan, I want Marty in net. As a USA fan...I want Luongo in net.

The best is yet to come for Canada!! They are gunna take it to USA! I hope Marty starts that game too. Not to sure what hached is talking about lol.

As others have said, if it wasnt for Hiller, that game would have ended in regulation.

To the OP. All teams have highly skilled players now. How could i be dissapointed with a win? At the end of the day thats what its all about.
What do you think of Russia's play against the Slovaks?

    GO CANADA!!!

marty is starting - babcock already said that...

would still rather have mason without a doubt. both brodeur and luongo are beatable but no fun to play against. miller's gonna need to come up huge for the US to have any chance.

btw, i think the russians are in trouble. they made a big mistake taking so many KHL players to try and prove a point. unless ovechkin totally takes over i think they could struggle as they don't have a lot of depth.
